Osamah Adnan Samarah, BSN, RN is a hybrid executive professional whose career spans healthcare leadership, clinical practice, innovation, and the creative industries. With more than 10 years of experience in tertiary healthcare institutions and over 15 years as a professional visual artist, later evolving into an internationally recognized artist from 2020 onward, he represents a rare cross-disciplinary profile that bridges clinical rigor with strategic and creative leadership.
Osamah currently serves as a Registered Nurse at King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Centre (KFSH&RC), where he delivers specialized outpatient and surgical & wound clinic care within a highly accredited environment. His experience includes pediatric oncology, hematology, transplant-related services, medically compromised dentistry, and large-scale public health operations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he was part of a multidisciplinary frontline team delivering high-volume screening services, collectively supporting up to 600 patients per day during the peak of the COVID-19 crisis. This work was carried out in temporary screening and swap centers, often under direct sun exposure and extreme heat, reflecting resilience, teamwork, and operational discipline under crisis conditions.
Alongside his clinical role, Osamah has consistently taken on formal leadership and governance responsibilities. He served as UBC Chairman at King Fahad Medical City (circa 2018), contributing to unit-level coordination, staff engagement, and quality-focused initiatives. He has also been repeatedly selected for professional moderation and speaking roles, including serving as a Moderator for the Advanced Wound Care Workshop (2024) organized by the Surgical Center at KFSH&RC, and as a Poadcast Speaker and Moderator in the Ministry of Defense's 2nd international congress held in 2025.
Osamah’s leadership trajectory began early during his undergraduate studies at King Saud University, where he chaired a university-level student initiative under the Student Partnership Framework, coordinated his academic cohort as a class representative, and led both the Art Club and later the Nursing Club. These roles reflected his early alignment with leadership pathways inherent to healthcare education and professional development.
Beyond healthcare, Osamah is the Founder and Creative Director of SUPER SAM, a professional visual art brand representing his work as a self-made artist whose practice evolved into international recognition from 2020 onward, following the acquisition of his works by collectors abroad. His creative career includes participation in nationally and globally recognized platforms such as Misk Art (2017 & 2018), and Hikaya Misk (2019), An intern at the Venice Biennale (2019) marking the foundation years of his artistic practice prior to its international expansion.. From 2020 onward, his artworks have been acquired by international collectors, in addition to royalty, public figures, celebrities, and corporate clients, and he maintains a disciplined daily studio practice, balancing creative production with full-time healthcare responsibilities.
In 2025, Osamah’s public profile expanded further through national, regional, and international media appearances. He was the only Saudi nurse artist to be interviewed by Arab News in his dual capacity as a healthcare professional and visual artist, representing Saudi Arabia as an example of true multidisciplinary talent. His media presence also included features on Saudi national television and a paid professional engagement with Samsung, where he was invited to share his expertise in the arts and creative practice. These engagements underscore his role as a trusted public voice capable of representing institutions, professions, and creative industries.
Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Executive Healthcare Administration at KSU, Osamah has a strong interest in health system optimization, leadership development, innovation, and AI-enabled digital health solutions, supported by continuous professional education through international platforms such as Coursera.
Osamah Adnan Samarah’s profile reflects a professional uniquely positioned for leadership, innovation, and representational roles across healthcare systems, public initiatives, and cross-sector partnerships—bringing together clinical credibility, executive mindset, creative vision, and public trust.
